I can not help but think of a better title for this late night post. I simply say that b/c today has been full of blessings. I can not even begin to tell you some of the stories and opportunities that arose from the relationship stand point with these kids and families. The weather was unbelievable to start off. Like, I have seriously never been in the Valley at summer that at times, Spring Break was warmer. And our last few days are suppose to end like that. Just unbelievable and amazing and a blessing.
This morning, we started back up on our projects, with some teams moving to their second project as other teams finished up. A few teams will hopefully finish their's tomorrow. But they have been doing so well, not complaining and pushing on through, even though they are getting more tired and tired by the minute it seems. Our adults are only bragging to me about these students!
Tonight's VBS' were all phenomenal, which goes along with our theme for the week it seems like. These kids are running the show with adults just hanging back to watch. One site had a kid accept Christ tonight! Makes every bit of it worth it.
Tonight, our students had there first group opportunity to share what has impacted them so far this week. I love this time b/c our students hear from their peers and allows them to take a peek inside their heart a little more. The stories are unbelievable and almost make you cry. God is so good. We spent some more time worshipping together tonight and ended with lots of prayer time, as we aligned our hearts together and prayer for tomorrow, as we present the Gospel message during our Bible schools. Pray with us and for us as we are tired and don't want our fatigue or anything else hinder God's movement here in the Valley. It's very evident that God is at work, and we just pray that come tomorrow night, we will have another brother or sister in Christ.
I'll hopefully post some more pictures that I have tomorrow from my phone. I have tried to upload tonight, but I guess the internet is too slow b/c I can't even get one picture up from my computer right now. We will try again in the morning.

ReplyDeleteIt is so amazing to see the things you all have done in the valley. You are planting seeds for Christ, and you may never know the impact you have made on people's lives or the difference you have made for their future.
Because of all of you God is able to work through each and everyone of you to touch hearts and change lives.
I know at the end of the week you all must be getting so tired, give it all to God and I am praying He will be your refuge, and tower of strength as you finish His work. Give all the glory to Jesus!
As you come home on Friday... look around and see who you have become a family with... some have been friends for a long time and new friendships have been made... Don't let Rio be your last work together, pray for one another and lift eachother up.
